My name is Thomas Rodgers, but online I'm known as Byzantium.png or ByzantiumPNG. I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and am currently 18 years old. My proficiency lies with traditional methods, especially illustration and painting.
Inspiration can be drawn from anything, however fear and negativity have the greatest influence over my artwork. I began drawing as a coping mechanism against depression and anxiety at age 13, and as I grew older and my issues worsened, the artwork improved.
My friends, peers, and instructors caught notice of my exponential artistic growth during school, and convinced me to apply to art schools and grow a following. However, the corona virus kept me from entering artbreak. I now attend Centenary for fine arts.
